A series of workbooks for care workers who want a flexible way to gain a record of Continuing Professional Development which suits their working schedule.
Components and/or options
This short series of workbooks can be studied individually or as a complete suite or in different combinations to suit the needs of employees in the care sector. They offer a flexible way of gaining a record of CPD (Continuing Professional Development) and furthering individual knowledge and skills for care practitioners in a variety of settings. The workbooks offer support for face-to-face training or the materials for individual study for care workers. They provide care workers with the opportunity to progress their personal and professional development in the workplace.
The Continuing Care CPD workbooks cover a range of topics and each workbook includes a learning log to help you build skills and knowledge and to link learning and practice. Each workbook also contains a table of key legislation, which you can link to your settings own policies and procedures.
A table is also included where you can keep a record of the tasks completed which can then be used an evidence towards an NVQ.
Level: the workbooks are at a level 2 standard.
Recommended Hours of Study: You will need approximately 10 hours of study time to complete a workbook.
