Home Educators

Help your children to get ahead with home learning

Latest Government figures suggest that there may be 55,000 home educated children and young people but there could be as many as 150,000, the equivalent of 1-2% of the school population.

Home schooling is becoming increasingly popular. It allows you to tailor your children’s education to their particular interests and allows them to fit education around their life.

Improving your prospects

As the number of home-schoolers multiplies, more students are making the leap from home to college, creating new challenges for students and colleges alike.

If your child is one of the increasing number of young learners being schooled at home, an NEC course can help to gain ever-important qualifications in a competitive jobs market to help build a brighter future.

Whether you are educating your child at home or you would like to give extra support in areas which your child finds difficult, NEC is here to help you by providing you with the flexibility to tailor your child's education via high quality home study courses.

NEC's First Home Education Workshop looks at ways ahead for GCSEs
