Anne Wilcox, Creative Writing
Anne Wilcox chose to study Creative Writing with NEC out of interest in the subject and because she wanted to be able to work at her own pace without a set attendance pattern for classes.
Anne found that the exercises in the study materials really helped her when it came to doing assignments.
She also developed more appreciation for poetry and fiction, “I really enjoyed the poetry module and other fiction modules,” and hopes to have improved her own use of language.
Anne enjoys other creative activities such as painting and going to the theatre, as well as reading and walking.
Anne’s best advice to potential students is the need to be self-motivated, as she has been motivated to take the course for her own personal development.
