Accounting AS
AS Accounting is half an A level and is a qualification in its own right. You can sit the AS exam and then go on to study the A2 if you want to.
NEC offers a distance learning package for the entire A level, or alternatively students can enrol on AS Accounting and A2 Accounting separately.
This AS Accounting home study course will help you gain an understanding of the principles, purposes, terminology, and limitations of accounting.

Entry requirements & Hours of Study
- No prior knowledge of accounting is necessary. Maths to GCSE level or equivalent is advisable.
- You should allow 150 hours of study for the AS and 150 hours for the A2, plus extra time for completing assignments.

Format
