Unionlearn is the learning and skills organisation of the TUC, helping unions to identify and deliver learning opportunities for its members.

Resources to help support training and education

If you’re training others, these resources will help you to support your students to develop their study skills and techniques, whilst saving you time. You have the option of a single-user or multi-user licence, depending on your needs.

Learning and study skills

NECs learning and study skills guides are suitable for a wide range of learners, from pre-GCSE to higher education. They’re designed to help develop your knowledge and skills through activities that encourage the application of learning and increase confidence.

The collection of guides includes exams and assessments, effective study skills and essay writing, including advice on planning your learning and how to approach key subjects like maths and languages.

English language skills building

This series of guides helps to develop essential English language skills, ideal whether written English is an area where there is a lack confidence, or just needed to dip in occasionally to check points of spelling, grammar or punctuation.

Information communication

Good communication skills, especially when sharing information, are essential for a wide range of courses and careers. Using an activity-based approach, NEC’s resources help to develop your writing skills and learn how to present information professionally and powerfully.
