Our develop your skills courses are designed to help you build firm foundations for your studies – whether you’re following courses to develop your career or to enjoy in your leisure time. They provide beginners in the subject with a basic grounding, before taking you through to more advanced skills.
Pre-GCSE Introduction to Maths introduces you to key concepts covered in GCSE Maths. Latin gives you a grounding in this important historic language, furthering your understanding of a wide range of subjects from law to English language.
Our Understanding Mentoring and Coaching course is designed to develop your skills and enhance your role as a teacher, mentor or volunteer.

When you become an NEC student, you’ll be supported by one of our expert NEC tutors, a qualified teacher with experience of assessing and tutoring online learners.
Your tutor will support you as you work through the course, and advise you on completion of the assignments necessary to achieve your award.

Whilst our courses are flexible in terms of your study schedule, exam dates are set by the awarding organisation.
As an approved centre, we facilitate both exams and non-exam assessments.

Yes. You can enrol any time and begin studying when it suits you. However, if your course involves an exam, you’ll need to complete all assignments and assessments (also known as coursework or NEA — Non-Exam Assessment) in time for set exam dates — so don’t leave it too late!
