Member of the Board

Tim Bennett-Hart is the CEO of the RSL, a specialist education body for the creative arts. RSL, which operates in over 50 countries, offers graded and vocational qualifications for music, dance, and creative digital disciplines. He was appointed CEO in 2022, after joining the company in 2018 as Academic Director.

Diverse background

Commercial songwriter

Prior to his time at RSL, Bennett-Hart had a diverse career that included working as a commercial songwriter and an academic at the University of Sussex, before transitioning into vocational creative education.

Federation of Awarding Bodies

 In addition to his role at RSL, he serves as a non-executive director on the board of the Federation of Awarding Bodies (FAB), which represents the UK’s qualifications and assessments industry.
