This offer is available to any individuals who have spent time in local authority care (including fostering, residential care, kinship care, or secure seting) at any stage of their life. 

Valid proof of status – such as a letter from a Personal Advisor, Local Authority Care Leaving Team, or Social Worker – must be provided at the time of application.

The 30% Course Fee Discount applies exclusively to standard NEC course access and tuition fees. It does not apply to:

• Examination fees or practical endorsement fees.
• Award organisation registration fees.
• Any optional additional NEC services such as additional tutor contact hours, course extensions, or supplementary study resources. 

The discount cannot be redeemed via automated online checkout. Applicants must complete the official NEC Care-Experienced Learners Application Form and submit the required evidence to the NEC Course Advice Team (CAT). 

This discount is valid for applications submitted on or after 1st November 2026. 

This offer cannot be combined with any other promotional offer, discount code, or existing bursary, unless explicitly authorised in writing by NEC.
