Students at state schools, colleges and further education institutions can apply to study a fully funded A level History of Art online course with the National Extension College (NEC).

The one-year Structured Fast Track A level course will be fully funded and free of charge, but places are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. APPLICATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED.

Grants to Study A level History of Art

The National Extension College (NEC), in partnership with an Art History charity, has received a grant to help more state school/college students access A level History of Art.

Thanks to this grant, we are able to offer a limited number of students who attend a state school, college or further education institution, a fully funded place on our new one-year Structured Fast Track History of Art A level course. APPLICATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED.

Normally priced at £1,499 this is an exciting opportunity to study a rich and inspiring subject, allowing you to explore themes such as society, power, religion and identity through the thought-provoking lens of creative expression.

Award of a grant to enrol on the fully funded History of Art A level course will be on a first-come, first-served basis, and upon proof of attendance at a state school, college or further education institution. Terms and conditions will apply. Enrolments on the course are for a September 2026 course start. APPLICATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED.
